Wow! Eight weeks has passed already. Ethan has been growing so fast. Why wouldn't he? I have been nursing him every 2 hours around-the-clock. I've also been expressing my milk with my trusty Medela pump. My milk storage currently takes up half of the freezer. He drinks only mommy's milk (no supplements or formulas) since it's packed with antibodies and easier to digest. We've been trying to get him to take the bottle more, since I'll be going back to work at the end of this month. He doesn't like the bottle too much and prefers his milk from the source. In fact, we went through quite a few different bottles and nipples before we finally found one he likes-- Nuk Orthodontic. Tommorow, Ethan goes to his 2 month appointment, so we'll get an official weight. I can already tell just from carrying him that he has doubled his weight.
Maybe I did supplement... strawberry shake at Becks Prime. (just kidding)
