A Sensible Accountant No More!

Hard to believe it's been 12 months. Not only has he grown taller and bigger, but his hair has gotten so long. Julie says that everything he eats goes straight to his thighs and hair! We were putting a side part in his hair to keep it out of his eyes and a friend of ours said that Ethan looked like a sensible accountant. This past weekend, we took him for his first hair cut. Here is the transformation from sensible accountant to rock star!

Welcome, Spring!

Our family went out to Pesce for Valentine's dinner. Usually we would not opt for a restaurant that has white table cloths and is considered "fine dining" when taking the kids out, but we braved it. It was perfect! Elise and Ethan were well behaved and we were able to enjoy a four course meal in a posh restaurant with the kids.

Alvin's birthday brunch this year was at Empire Cafe. It was a good time with good friends sharing yummy food and drinks.

Afterwards, we relaxed at Memorial Park.

Elise likes to sit on the blanket and draw. She's become quite the artist.

Brent, Lin, and their new addition, Nathaniel, joins us at Dolce Vita for Alvin's birthday dinner.

Elise and I cut our hair and donated it to Locks of Love. Elise donated 10 inches and I donated 12 inches. Elise was really excited to know that her hair will be a wig for a sick child. Also, it was her first real salon haircut. I am proud of her.






Here, we are on one of our outings in Hermann park. When the weather permits, our family spends a lot of time out at the parks. We are loving the spring weather!
