Little BIG Eyes meet Little Bigs!

Lately, we've been practicing going out. Yes, it takes practice. Those who have small children know what I'm talking about. It's like planning a mini road trip. Making sure we've packed everything we might need. Really taking the whole family out with baby in tow is tricky; it requires coordination and planning between Julie and myself. Luckily, we're getting it down like an art form! It comes down to one-on-one defense... I take care of Ethan and Julie takes care of Elise.

Most of our outings have been short trips to restaurants. We've been out to enjoy Reuben sandwiches at Katz Deli, Houston's famous sliders at Little Bigs, $20 special at Chili's and brunch at Ziggy's Healthy Grill. Picnic in the park isn't really an option with this hot summer heat so we often cool down with a Taro Tapioca drink! Gosh, we sure love to eat!

How quickly time flew by?! Ethan is now 6 weeks old. He has been cooing and mimicking our smiles, even in his sleep. His chubby cheeks and rosy lips are just adorable!

Since going back to work last Monday, Julie has been taking care of both kiddos. I really appreciate her love and patience! Coming home to a full house after a long day of work is unreal! I am the luckiest dad/husband in the world!

Grand Opening of Our Blog

Inspired by the birth of baby Ethan, we started a family blog, so that we could keep our family and friends up to date with new happenings and events in our lives.
